The Westerly School auction is one of the school’s most important fundraisers and is highly anticipated every single year. Just like the Annual Fund, the auction raises money that directly impacts the educational programs at Westerly. The event typically draws 250+ guests, including parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, current and past trustee members, founders, alumni, alumni parents and friends. Last year’s team of parent and community volunteers raised $75,000 through our auction event, and the 2017-2018 team is already working hard to make this year’s event just as successful!
Each year, a different theme is chosen by the current 8th grade families, and the results are always exciting and fun. Stay tuned, the theme will be decided in early September!

Numerous sub-committees make up the auction planning team, and they all benefit from our parents’ unique professional skills and abilities. From advertising and outreach to event-day management, there is room for everyone to lend a hand! This event is a great way to learn more about Westerly and make new friends.
