Prior to joining Westerly School, Amber spent 13 years at Pediatric Therapy Network in Torrance. During six of those years, she served as Early Intervention Teacher/Session Leader and aided in the opening of the satellite location in Long Beach for the Leaps and Bounds program. She also previously held a position as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Vistamar School in El Segundo where she was introduced to Westerly in 2008 while presenting at our high school fair. From that moment, Amber was drawn to the warmth of the community and Westerly's commitment to the development of the whole child. Several years later, fate led her back to Westerly as she was looking into Kindergarten for her son.
At Westerly, she will be responsible for introducing new families to the community and guiding them through the Admissions process. She loves that Westerly sparks a joy of learning and empowers each student to not only be strong academically, but to be kind and compassionate individuals. She is excited that she and her son will begin their journeys at Westerly together.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, planning family staycations, yoga, all things design related, shopping, and discovering new movies on Netflix.
